The Catholic Business Network of Baltimore has been a wonderful supporter of Catholic education in the Archdiocese of Baltimore. Each year, the group supports four tuition assistance scholarships for students attending Catholic high schools in and around Baltimore.

This year, the need for tuition assistance has increased due to loss of income for many families. The Partners In Excellence (PIE) Scholarship Program of the Archdiocese of Baltimore is holding its Annual Giving Day on Thursday, September 10th. We hope to raise enough funds to create 40 new scholarships for some of our most needy families.

Can you help? Check out www.pieschools.org to learn about PIE - and follow PIE on social media (www.facebook.com/BaltimorePIE, Instagram: @partnersinexcellence) to get updates about the Giving Day.

CASA of Baltimore County is in need of donations of cash or gift cards to help children in foster care during this difficult time. Many older youth in foster care are living on their own for the first time, struggling to make ends meet, and many of them have lost jobs or access to resources because of the pandemic. Many other children are placed with family members who have stepped up to help out, but who are also struggling themselves. We are working to provide groceries and other supplies to these individuals who are disproportionately affected by the current circumstances.

Gift cards can be mailed to the CASA office at:
    305 W. Chesapeake Ave., Ste. 117
    Towson, MD 21204

Cash donations can be made online at www.casabaltco.org/donate

Thank you in advance for your support!

As a resource in your prayer life, during the COVID pandemic, Baltimore's Catholic Radio (www.baltimorescatholicradio.com), a We Are One Body affiliate, invites you to use this time of precautionary disruption, as God's invitation to grow in your faith.

Please consider this station as a 24/7 companion in your faith that connects you to a community of prayer. Listen and share your feedback as we are seeking to improve and make this station a long term asset for the community of faith in the Archdiocese of Baltimore. Please email your support and interest to wvtoradio@gmail.com.

And let's unite in one voice of prayer for all those significantly affected by these days.
